This hillside villa, dating to the 14th century, is surrounded by spectacular scenery and an arboretum comprising lush non-native trees. Villa Pitiana underwent a vast refurbishment during the Renaissance, and by the end of the 19th century, the former farmhouse was transformed with its stately façade, medieval restoration, and interior upgrade. Interesting facilities include a Tuscan-style restaurant, a park, a winery, and a library containing ancient books.
